  • The Call for Proposals for Atlantic Ports has just been launched

    The European Maritime & Fisheries Fund (EMFF) just announched the call for proposals for "Cross-sectoral development of innovative port clusters in the Atlantic: Developing a blue accelerator scheme for Atlantic ports". The overarching objective of this call is to boost entrepreneurship and foster a sustainable blue economy in the Atlantic area by increasing the competitiveness and resilience of Atlantic ports. More specifically, this action aims at supporting:

  • COVID-19 and the European Innovation Council (EIC) Accelarator

    On 30 April 2020, the European Commission announced an additional €150 million for the European Innovation Council to fund breakthrough ideas tackling coronavirus.

    The European Commission has approved a Portuguese scheme to support the Portuguese fishery and aquaculture sector in the context of the coronavirus outbreak.The scheme was approved under the State aid Temporary Framework adopted by the Commission on 19 March 2020, as amended on 3 April 2020.
