EMD 2019: 16 & 17 May

European Maritime Day (EMD) 2019, Lisbon Portugal, 16 & 17 May,  is approaching and the full programme is now available on line

EMD this year will focus on blue entrepreneurship, innovation and investment. The conference includes an inspirational opening session, 8 breakout sessions organised by the European Commission and focusing on a number of strategic EU policy initiatives to support Europe’s Sustainable Blue Economy, and 28 high-quality Thematic Workshops designed and organized by maritime stakeholders.

EMD EXPO: "Market for Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the Blue Economy"

European Maritime Day is much more than a two-day conference. The event will also host an exciting array of 100 exhibitors from around Europe who will showcase the blue economy’s innovation and investment potential. R&D centres, universities, incubators, spin-offs, start-ups, companies, associations and NGOs will be there to showcase their innovative ideas, products and services related to the conference themes. Pitch stage

The exhibition will be complemented by a pitch stage with 3 sessions (session 1, session 2, session 3) and 21 pitchers from across the EU who will present advanced innovative projects on blue economy.

B2B meetings

A dedicated area for B2B networking will offer the opportunity for matchmaking to all the participants interested in B2B  meetings, making the marketplace an ideal opportunity for blue economy professionals to connect. Once registered to the EMD conference you will be able to book B2B meeting slots, post your profile and/or register to workshops or breakout sessions.
