"Building knowledge and collaborations towards Marine Spatial Planning"
The registrations are open for the MSPglobal 2.0 Online Kick-off Conference!
The project “Supporting the global implementation of international marine/maritime spatial planning guidelines” (MSPglobal 2.0) will contribute to the target 14.2 of the SDG14, i.e., sustainably manage and protect marine and coastal ecosystems, particularly through Marine Spatial Planning.
MSPglobal 2.0 is designed to implement some of the actions of the Updated Joint Roadmap to accelerate Marine/Maritime Spatial Planning processes worldwide MSProadmap (2022-2027). At global level, tools complementary to the MSPglobal Guide will be co-developed and new capacity development and awareness opportunities will be created. At regional level, the project will focus on transboundary pilots in the Gulf of Guinea and the Western Pacific regions to provide support towards institutionally strengthened MSP processes.
For more information about the agenda, please visit the dedicated page on the MSPglobal website, which will be updated regularly.
The conference will have English, French and Spanish interpretation.
