Open call for challenges within Marine Living Resources and Blue Biotechnology sectors

The Blue Shuttle launched a call to identify key digital and technological challenges in the Marine Living Resources and Blue Biotechnology sectors. 

Stakeholders—including SMEs, startups, corporates, innovation centers, academic institutions, and organizations in the Blue Economy—are invited to share their most pressing challenges in the follwing areas: 

(1) Harvesting, Biomass Production & Bioprospecting; 

(2) Innovation Development & Product Differentiation (e.g., transformation technologies); 

(3) Twin transition: Green or Digital

Applications are open until November 15, 2024. The project will select four pilot initiatives, one from each of the following countries: Ireland, France, Spain, and Portugal

In early 2025, the Blue Shuttle project will issue another open call for solutions, inviting providers to address the identified digital and technological needs, ultimately fostering innovation and resilience in the Blue Bioeconomy sectors.
