The European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) has announced the key dates for the LIFE Calls for Proposals 2026, providing early guidance to organisations interested in applying for EU funding in the fields of environment, climate action and clean energy transition.
The LIFE Calls for Proposals 2026 are planned to be published on 21 April 2026 on the EU Funding & Tenders Portal. To support potential applicants, CINEA will organise a series of online LIFE Info Days from 28 to 30 April 2026. These sessions will introduce the new calls, explain the priority topics, and provide practical guidance on how to prepare a strong proposal.
The Info Days will cover the four LIFE sub-programmes:
Nature and Biodiversity
Circular Economy and Quality of Life
Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation
Clean Energy Transition
The sessions will be livestreamed, with opportunities for participants to ask questions during the events. Registration for the Info Days is open, and further details, including the programme, will be made available on the CINEA website.
For stakeholders active in the Atlantic Sea Basin, the LIFE Programme represents an important funding opportunity to support projects contributing to environmental protection, climate resilience, sustainable maritime activities and ecosystem‑based management, in line with broader EU policy objectives.
