Call for Interest for experts for the Support Group of the Energy Transition Partnership for the EU Fisheries and Aquaculture sectors
This key initiative, launched by the European Commission as part of the Energy Transition Partnership (ETP) for EU fisheries and aquaculture, aims to create an ETP Support Group. This group will serve as an advisory and consultative body, driving the energy transition in the sector and providing valuable input to shape the energy transition roadmap.
Stakeholders from various categories are invited to join and play a vital role in supporting the partnership's objectives, bringing their expertise and commitment to the energy transition process. Ten coordinators will be responsible for promoting engagement, gathering feedback, facilitating discussions, and disseminating important information within their respective sectors representing a specific stakeholder category, as follow:
- Fisheries Small-Scale Coastal Fisheries (SSCF)
- Large-Scale Fisheries (LSF)
- Distant Water Fisheries (DWF)
- Inland Aquaculture
- Offshore Aquaculture
- Ports
- Processing Industry
- Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs)
- Fishing Shipbuilding Industry
- Research Organisations and Academia
