The EU4Ocean Grants 2026 are inviting members of the EU4Ocean Coalition to submit innovative ocean literacy projects that promote intergenerational collaboration in the blue economy. The grants aim to support new initiatives as well as existing projects seeking to expand their activities and impact.
This year’s call focuses on generational renewal, reflecting the priorities of the European Ocean Pact. Proposals should help connect different generations, advance blue skills and career opportunities, and contribute to a sustainable blue economy.
Applications are open across three categories:
- Organisations
- Youth
- Schools
Successful applicants in each category will receive an official award certificate and a €12,000 financial grant to implement their proposed activities between 1 January and 31 August 2027.
Applicants must be members of Partners4Ocean, the Youth4Ocean Forum or the Network of European Blue Schools and must be legally based in an EU country. Proposals may cover standalone projects, the expansion of existing initiatives or specific activities within ongoing projects. They must also present measurable outcomes that directly support generational renewal in the blue economy.
The deadline to apply is 23 October 2026, and the selected projects are expected to be announced towards the end of November 2026.
