The dates for the second edition of the European Maritime Spatial Planning (MSP) Week have been officially announced. The event will take place from 1 to 5 June 2026 in Brussels, bringing together maritime spatial planning initiatives, practitioners and policymakers from across Europe.

European MSP Week is a dedicated week of events focused on maritime spatial planning, aimed at fostering exchange, coordination and knowledge‑sharing among EU‑funded projects, national authorities, stakeholders and sea‑basin initiatives. The programme will feature a range of events organised by European MSP projects and networks, highlighting ongoing work and future priorities in MSP implementation.

The week will also host the first edition of the Great North Sea Basin Initiative Stakeholder Conference, marking an important milestone for sea‑basin cooperation and strategic coordination in maritime planning at European level.

For the Atlantic Sea Basin, MSP Week offers a valuable opportunity to engage with developments across other sea basins, strengthen cross‑basin dialogue, and showcase good practices supporting sustainable use of marine space in line with EU policy objectives.

Further details on the agenda and registration will be made available via the EU MSP Platform in the coming weeks.
