Join marine protection experts, policymakers, researchers and practitioners on 16 November 2026 for the 7th EU Blue Parks Community Workshop & Blue4All Final Event, taking place in Bruges and online. The event will explore how research results and innovative tools can be translated into practical solutions for more effective Marine Protected Areas (MPAs). 

Organised under the theme “From science to practice: co-creating effective MPAs to meet the EU marine protection targets”, the workshop will showcase lessons learned from the Blue4All project, introduce the new MPA Solutions Hub, and facilitate exchanges between science, policy and practice. 

The event is part of the growing EU Blue Parks Community, which brings together stakeholders across European sea basins to support the EU Mission Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030 and advance marine protection and restoration efforts. 

Atlantic stakeholders involved in marine conservation, spatial planning, biodiversity protection and blue economy initiatives are encouraged to participate and engage with this growing European community dedicated to advancing effective marine protection.
