The EU-funded projects DIAMONDS4IF, LEADS, H2IF, 2DPLOY, in close collaboration with CINEA, DG CLIMA and DG RTD and with the support of REALIZE,are organising the event “Accelerating Clean Industrial Deployment: Insights, Challenges and Opportunities”, which will take place on 12 May 2026.
The event will focus on clean industrial deployment in Europe, providing a platform to discuss key insights, remaining challenges and emerging opportunities linked to the implementation of clean technologies and industrial decarbonisation. It aims to bring together policymakers, practitioners, industry representatives and stakeholders involved in supporting the EU’s clean transition.
Discussions will contribute to a broader understanding of how clean industrial solutions can be effectively deployed at scale, supporting EU climate and industrial policy objectives, strengthening competitiveness and accelerating the transition towards a climate‑neutral economy.
For maritime and blue economy stakeholders, the event is relevant in the context of industrial decarbonisation, clean energy deployment and sustainable value chains, which are closely connected to ports, shipping and industrial activities in the Atlantic Sea Basin.
