Organised by the Portuguese National Hub, in coordination with the Atlantic Strategy, WestMED Initiative, and Pillar IV Coordinator, this event will bring together experts, policymakers, and stakeholders from the Altantic and Western Mediterranean to discuss how sea basin strategies can work in synergy — advancing a sustainable, resilient, and healthy ocean.

About the session
The panel will explore the convergences between the Atlantic and WestMED Strategies, the Ocean Pact, and the priorities of the European Blue Economy, focusing on Pillar IV of the Atlantic Action Plan: Coastal Resilience & Healthy Ocean.
It will highlight the power of interregional collaboration to strengthen Europe’s ocean governance and promote a more cohesive, integrated sea basins approach.
