
The Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership has launched its Third Joint Transnational Call for Research and Innovation Projects, offering €43.5 million to support transformative initiatives that advance a resilient, climate-neutral, and inclusive blue economy.
This call is co-branded by the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development and aligns with the EU Mission “Restore our Ocean and Waters”, aiming to foster collaboration across 30+ countries.
Key Focus Areas
Applicants are invited to submit proposals under one or more of the following priority areas:
Digital Twins of the Ocean (DTOs)
Transitioning Blue Economy Sectors & Multi-use Infrastructures
Climate-smart Sea-use Planning
Blue Bioresources: Fisheries, Aquaculture & Bio-based Products
Resilient Coastal Communities & Businesses

Who Can Apply?
Consortia must include partners from at least three different countries participating in the call. Eligible applicants include:
