
The SEALabHaus programme extended the deadline of the open call for pilot projects aimed at supporting sustainable, inclusive, and creative blue economy initiatives in coastal regions across the Atlantic Area.
The call seeks to identify 25 community-led or innovative projects (5 per region), from which 1 per region will be selected for further development and promotion as an official EU SEALabHaus Pilot Project.
What They’re Looking For
Projects that:
Are community-led, creative, or innovative
Are based in coastal regions of the Atlantic Area
Promote sustainability, social inclusion, and cultural identity
Support the coastal economy or natural environment
Are early-stage or already established
Who Can Apply
Grassroots community initiatives
Local private businesses
Start-ups or collectives
Local authorities or government agencies
Projects involving youth, women, or people with disabilities are prioritized
Support for Selected Projects
Mentorship from business and NEB experts
Access to the NEB Canvas for project development
Participation in international exchange and learning sessions
Visibility through the EU SEALabHaus platform
Local mentor support through 2026
Mentor training in Ireland (November 2025)
